Jatiyo Sangsad Bhaban, National Assembly Building of Bangladesh

Located in the city of Dhaka, the National Assembly Building of Bangladesh, Jatiyo Sangsad Bhaban, stands out as an architectural masterpiece surrounded by water and beautifully landscaped gardens. Famous American architect Louis I. Kahn is the visionary of this masterpiece. Considered to be the largest legislative complex in the world, it is home to all of Bangladesh’s parliamentary activity. Construction commenced in 1961 and was completed on 28 January 1982. Jatiyo Sangsad Bhaban was used for the first time on 15th February 1982 as the venue for the eighth, and last, session of the second parliament of Bangladesh.
