Feelings Of The Mooing Cow

How Does the Cow Feel?
Well let's find out
by Hope BD

When we are born, we are taken and looked after by our Masters until one day we get taken away by a new Master. That's when I think maybe it was for my own good, or maybe I wasn't good enough for him since he has new born ones to take care of so he got me a new Master. Until one day I realize that he is only keeping me for his own business needs. That's when we understand the true purpose of our existence. We do not know the language of humans and they don't understand ours so we can't even negotiate our way out of it. Can you imagine us trying to make a deal with our Master for our freedom? We come to the realization that our friends and family are only born and brought up by humans so that they can sell us, but why do they do it?

Here is the best example for a big festival called Eid Al-Adha also known as Qurbani Eid when all of us are taken to a large field and we are put on display like some unique vintage piece waiting for the collector's keen eye. The feeling is worse than getting rejected by other bulls or cows, everyone is going through the same pain. 😟 Every time a new Master arrives, we expect help but we get rejected due to some minute fault or the other. Our inability to communicate and be understood slowly leads us to the place where we will be sacrificed for the greater good? We try to communicate the feeling of impending doom through our constant wails but even if we cry our hearts out, it only serves as a mild disturbance to our Masters. In some ways we are lucky, imagine someone creating so much noise throughout the night! Surely someone would have created a big fuss or lodged a complaint if it were anyone but us. Finally, the light of a new day brings our Masters to put us out of our miseries. Our journey finally ends and we are set free into the dark abyss of nothingness.
