Bangladesh receive Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine

COVID 19 vacation has started in the capital of Bangladesh. The Prime Minister virtually inaugurated the vaccination program from her official residence on Wednesday. The vaccination program commenced from 9:00AM today Thursday the 28th of January 2021. It aims to vaccinate 20% percent of the country's population with the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine manufactured in India by the Serum Institute of India. Dhaka Medical College (DMC), Kurmitola General Hospital (KGH), Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital (KBFGH), Mugda General Hospital (MGH) and, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) are the five hospital which have received the COVID19 vacation. Health Minister Zahid Maleque visited the vaccination program around 11am at Dhaka Medical College (DMC), so far 560 health workers received the vaccines from the hospital. Belishor - A Community of Disabled People Dreaming of a Better Life Needs Your Help

Belishor,  a small village in Dhamrai, is home to one of the most warmhearted communities in our country. Unfortunate circumstances and poverty has them struggling to access basic necessities of life. They do not have the means to even access basic medical care and supplies. The extremely poor including the disabled and handicapped of this community take refuge and shelter in the  Belishor Dhamrai School.  Although victims to unfortunate circumstances, they inspire us to be grateful of what we have. If you visit this School, you will feel welcomed because of their generosity and warm smiles. Recently, a Winter Drive was conducted at Belishor Dhamrai School where warm winter blankets were distributed to the handicapped and disabled residents. It not only gave them a warm blanket to wrap themselves up when they sleep on a cold winter night, it also gave them joy while making them feel special.  Limited help and circumstances do not prevent these beautiful people from dreaming and hoping ...
